Assist promotions will underpin company’s growth plans

Key promotions have been made within the workforce at Assist Resourcing UK Ltd to underpin the company’s plans for major growth.

Gemma Lewis and Louise Willcox have both been appointed regional managers, Gemma covering  West UK and Louise taking care of operations in East UK. Gemma recently successfully managed the implementation project for Assist’s new National Resource Centre while Louise helped to establish the Assist Driving Division nationally.

Rory Owings has been named as the business’ contract manager at logistics company Great Bear following his achievements in growing the account both financially and geographically – Assist is now supplying the organisation across a large part of the North and North West and is continuing to develop new opportunities there.

Douglas Cameron has been appointed mobile account manager as a result of his new business win at Sykes & Sons in Manchester. His new role will involve him overseeing both Sykes & Sons and Culina Market Drayton.

The fifth promotion has gone to Gareth Tristram who will shortly take up the new position of mobile account manager and oversee operations at Culina Stafford and Habitat Stafford.

Rory, Douglas and Gareth all previously held account manager roles.

Chris Edwards, operations director at Assist Resourcing UK Ltd, said: “The promotions of these key people in the business have been due to their career development within the company.

“They have been rewarded for their contribution to the business and will play a vital part in Assist’s ongoing growth strategy for 2018 and onwards.”
