An “exceptional” period of growth over the 12 months has put Russell Taylor Holdings Ltd in the position of seeing a threefold expansion in all its key operational areas.

Exceeding its business objectives for 2016-17 has been the result of the strategic acquisitions of NMS Recruit, Assist Resourcing and Nexus People together with strong organic growth within its existing businesses.

During this period, core staff in group companies rose from 82 in 2016 to a current figure of 275. Group turnover increased from £31m to £110m while profit across group companies is forecast to rise from a 2016 figure of £750k to £3m in 2017. The number of temporary workers on group payroll has increased from 2,500 to more than 10,000.

As part of its commitment to the business ethos of delivering a programme of corporate social responsibility, the company has in the past year also made charitable donations totalling £80k compared to £15k the previous year.

Ben Russell, chief executive officer at Russell Taylor Holdings Ltd, said: “Our ambition has always been to grow in size and reputation so we are delighted to have been able to achieve this exceptional period of growth.

“However, the business remains focused on expanding its service offering, through both organic growth and acquisition, and it is a testament to the support of the team here at our Wirral headquarters in Bromborough, the engagement of our new members of the Russell Taylor ‘family’, our expert financial and legal partners, as well all other stakeholders that have partnered with us over many years, that we can make these bold announcements.”
