Assist Resourcing are excited to be looking for a Transport Administrator in Basildon to work for us at one of the UK’s leading logistics organisations, at their busy Distribution Centre located in Creswell, Basildon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team and will present fabulous opportunities for Career Development for the right candidate.  
 
About the Job…      
  • Monitor and help manage 15/20 multi-drop drivers across the South East
  • Handling enquiries with the Transport Supervisor
  • Brief/Debrief duties 
  • Systems update/data entry
  • Processing Driver paperwork (scanning, filing and maintaining paperwork)
  • Maintaining required reports on delivery exceptions
  • Other general admin and office duties as required 
Shift times & working hours…
  • Monday to Friday working 
  • Start time: 11:00 until finish at 19:00
  • Flexibility may be required from time to time during peak periods

What do we need from you?
  • You will need to have excellent communication skills
  • You will have a very keen attention to detail
  • You will have a good grasp of the english language (spoken and written)
  • You will have a friendly and outgoing personality, with some history in Customer Services
  • You will have the confidence to work in a busy office amongst the hustle and bustle
  • You will possess the ability to remain calm under pressure and at busy times
  • You will be extremely organised and have great time management skills
  • You should be confident using a computer (Word, Excel, Microsoft)
  • You will be able to work under pressure, and to tight deadlines
