Assist Resourcing UK Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a few talented Assembly Operatives, to start work on a temp to perm basis at our clients fabulous site based in Wigan.

These roles are temp to perm and have an immediate start.

The role of assembly operative will be working within a fabrication, assembly and warehousing department.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assembling finished products
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Picking packing, loading and unloading, labelling up products
  • Report any discrepancies in an orderly and timely manner
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Work to high quality standards
  • Heavy lifting will be involved in this role

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Working with Metal products is desirable
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or workshop environment
  • Good organisational and time management skills

Hours of work & Pay

Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 12.30 noon

£7.88 per hour basic

£9.85 per hour weekend overtime

£11.82 per hour Weekend Overtime
