Assist Resourcing UK Limited are delighted to be recruiting for several talented Yard/Shop Floor Labourers to start work on an ongoing contract with a view to go permanent at our clients fabulous site based in Wigan.

The role will involve working in a factory/yard environment taking moving timber around the yard and factory.

Min duties will include

·Moving timber around yard and shop floor

·Assisting the machinist on shop floor with manual work

·General cleaning, sweeping and tidying of a busy timber yards

·Palletising finished products

·Working to deadlines

·Following all health and safety guide lines

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

·Experience working in a timber yard preferable

·This is heavy manual work that can be physically demanding

·Working out side in all weather conditions

·Lifting will be involve

·Team work

Pay rate is starting at £8.50 per hour.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 8am until 430pm

Overtime on a Saturday is available 8am until 12 noon

This is an ongoing temp position with a strong possibility of going permanent for the right candidates.
