Assist Resourcing UK Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a talented, people orientated and proactive team Leader to join our fabulous high-volume warehouse contract based in Rochdale.

This is a varying role and no day will be the same and will require dedication, tenacity and the ability to think on your feet.

Reporting directly to the contract manager we are looking for candidates who can lead, manage and develop a team of high volume industrial temporary workers within a fast paced and demanding warehousing environment.  This will include managing flexi workers attendance, conduct return to work interviews, absence management, manage leavers, produce KPI reports, ensuring all workers records are up to date compliant.

To apply for this role we are looking for candidates with previous supervisory or team leading experience that have had experience working in a fast-moving, dynamic, service-led organisation, and have had exposure and specific responsibility for service delivery and customer relationship management within an on-site environment ideally a high volume industrial, logistics or recruitment role.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of managing different sized teams, outstanding IT literacy skills, experience of working with Microsoft packages including Office, Word, Power point, Excel and Outlook are essential.

 

Interpersonal skills and experience of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally with different functions and management styles are also essential to being successful in this role.

We are seeking candidates that have worked within a high volume industrial, logistics or recruitment role before and who have managed and coached high-volume staff.

Due to the nature of this contract the roll will be based on 4 on 4 off shifts 0600-1830 days,. 0600-0630 night shift.
