3.5 Tonne Driver - Wigan - £12 p/h - Immediate Starts - Apply Today!
Assist Resourcing is looking for 3.5 Tonne drivers in Wigan to work for our client, who supply Greek & Cypriot foods across the UK. 

Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answer YES to the below question: 

1. Do you have at least 12 months previous experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle?
2. Where you born in or after 1998?

You must not have any DR, OR or DD convictions on your licence. 

Working as a 3.5 Tonne Driver:
We are looking for 3.5 Tonne Drivers who will be doing the following: 

• Driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle 
• Transporting frozen, chilled and ambient foods to takeaways, restaurants and catering vans
• Delivering as far as Peterborough, London and up to Edinburgh
• Unloading the empty pallets from the van
• Cleaning the inside of the van and ensuring strict H&S standards are met
• Dealing with customers 
• Handling and logging receipt of cash
• Vehicle Maintenance Checks

The Shift times & working hours of a 3.5 Tonne Driver:

• Fixed rota
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday to begin with - this will increase in May
• Usual 7 am start times (occassionally earlier starts required)
• 6 - 12 hour shifts
