Assist Resourcing UK Limited are delighted to be recruiting for an Experienced Chilled Warehouse Shift Manager for our fabulous chilled distribution client based in Tilbury.

This role will be reporting directly to the operations and warehouse manager and will involve all aspects dealing with the activities within the warehouse to include managing, training and mentoring a group of team leaders, warehouse personnel, admin staff and LGV drivers. As a key role for our client and we are looking for candidates that excels in leadership, customer service and who can successful meet and exceed KPIs.

The role is working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 10am until 10pm, however flexibility will be needed due to business demands.

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for warehousing, who are experienced in health and safety, who can mentor a team to be the best that they can and also has great communication skills across all levels.

You will need to have experience with Warehouse management systems and also proven ability to lead a team. This role also involves managing LGV drivers, so you will need a sound knowledge of hours, legislation and WTD.

This is a permanent position that our client is looking to fill immediately.

Experience of working with in a chilled warehousing environment is essential.
