Assist Resourcing UK Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a number of talented Wood Machinists to start work on an ongoing contract with a view to go permanent basis at our clients fabulous site based in Wigan.

The role will involve working in a factory environment cutting timber to our clients’ specifications.

Min duties will include

·Operating Four side Cutters and Four Side Moulders

·Cutting timber to clients’ specification

·Ensuring work area is maintained and is clean and tidy

·Working to deadlines

·Following all health and safety guide lines

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

·Time served operative in wood cutting

·City & Guilds Qualified (preferred) or NVQ essential in wood cutting

·Experience with Four-sided cutter or Four-sided moulders essential

Pay rate is starting at £12.00 per hour but could be increased to £14-£15 depending on experience.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 8am until 430pm

Overtime on a Saturday is available 8am until 12 noon

This is an ongoing temp position with a strong possibility of going permanent for the right candidates.
